Blackfin tuna are many anglers favorite fish to target when around in large numbers during the months of April – November.  Captain Aaron loves to watch his clients catch a blackfin or skipjack tuna for the first time due to the intensity of the runs the put on.  Tuna are designed for speed and let it be known when hooked by producing drag screaming runs of over 40 miles per hour. Captain Arron targets tuna by live chumming pilchards over rubble piles, reefs & wrecks in depths ranging from 100 – 300 feet deep using medium tackle spinning rods which makes for an excellent high energy fight recommended for anglers of intermediate to advanced skill levels.  Are you up for the challenge of conquering a 30 pound Blackfin tuna?
